This serum is very nice for me, I have oily and sensitive skin, and it leaves my face feeling soft and smooth, and it calms down my skin. I tend to get breakouts around my period, and it handles those well too. At first it made my breakouts worse, but I think it's because I had to switch from my prescription clindamycin phosphate lotion. I use it after cleanser once a day in the mornings. But I have a question: Since my skin tends to be oily, would I apply this product in the morning and at night? With my old prescription, I would wash and apply the lotion twice a day, so I was wondering if I should do the same. I would love it if you could answer Michelle!

You probably broke out first because of the retinol, it usually happens for 1 week. After the first week, the skin should get use to the retinol and clear up. Also, remember to wear sunscreen over the acne serum to product your skin from further irritation.
